Just started with Logic, writing a blog on my fun attempts at learning this software, this course would be a very helpful!

  • Chris

Just purchased logic the other day. A course such as this would be ideal to help get me started.

Getting into Logic Pro after graduating from Garage Band. I want to make music for a living (I know, pretty lofty goal) But I believe that if it’s something I believe in, then I at least have a chance. I’m in college right now, can’t really afford lessons, and don’t have a ton of time to spend fiddling with the program, so a structured lesson plan like this would help so much. Even if I don’t win, the lessons alone on this site have been very helpful, so thank you :)

I would like to know more about the environment and how it can be used to various tricks. Tutorials about the built-in instruments would also be useful.

  • Jared

You are doing great things on this site. Logic Pro is a great DAW with lots to learn. Best of luck to everyone.

I have logic pro 9 on the mac but have hardly used it, for the reason im used to ableton live but have always really wanted to use this DAW, it seems complicated compared to ableton but that is because im inexperienced, I would love to know what all the different instruments and effects are used for (some are obvious some are not) also I would like to know how to use audio and loops effectively within logic
I know alot of proffesional electronic dance music producers use this and I for one would find logic courses of real benefit to my productions and get me on the right track to using this powerful application

    Hi,

I hav been using Logic Pro 9 for almost amore than a year. Its an ideal tool for a Programmer or any Composer. Looking forward for a tutorial which could help everyone for easy undertsnading of various functions in Logic, also covering different ways of Mixing and Mastering with or Without plugins .

I am one of the house djs for Margaritaville’s Montego Bay night club called “Club Ville”. I am an excellent dj, and for years have been searching for a way to enhance my very limited skill in the production world. I already have a few tracks to my name, which came about from me doing the initial work on Reason and having someone else do the rest in either Logic or Protools. Winning this give-a-way, will not only give me an opportunity to upgrade my skill set, but also save a few bucks to put into expanding my hardware. AudioTuts+ has been my one stop shop for tutorials on many of the things I never knew. I am looking into getting Logic on my MBP13, to start doing my own recordings, and this give-away will definitely prepare me for that transitions.
