Although I respect both artists immensely I feel they refuse so see the advantages technology can have for music, regardless of style. Although the blues style of Clapton is a far way from electronic music productions, it isn't like he hasn't used synths on loads of his songs. Perhaps he has changed his mind now, because like the intro said, the interview is over twenty years old. And at that time, technology in music wasn't all that great... Yeah, I agree with Jet Honda. However, Clapton and Williams both seem quite biased against technology and therefore close-minded when they speak on the subject. It is obvious they both aren't very much educated on, or familiar with music technology which is probably why they choose to bash it like they do. Nonetheless, it a very insightful read.
