Nile Rogers gives great guitar advice. Bobby Owsinski recently posted the video on his blog with this comment: “One area that Nile really knows is funk, and in the following video, he gives probably the best lessons I’ve ever seen on what is funky and what isn’t in terms of playing. This should be a must see for every guitar player, regardless of if you play in the genre or not.”

Been playing guitar for a bit over a decade. Also, have a degree in theory and played keys for a number of years. This has recently led me to the discovery of these three string voicings and actually considering the voice leading between my changes. This is one of the better videos I’ve seen on the topic.
