Say “Hi” to the New Audiotuts+ Editor, Adrian!
Aug 10th in General by Skellie
For the last year or so Joel Falconer has done a wonderful job editing the site and keeping the quality of content and its presentation high. Today I'm slightly sad--but also excited--to announce that Joel is moving on from Audiotuts+ to work on a new and unannounced site in Envato's network. I've no doubt his skills will help to make it an unqualified success.
Taking his place is regular Audiotuts+ author Adrian Try, who brings to the table years of experience not only in the audio world, but also in writing and editing. You can expect Adrian to uphold the same high standard while continuing to write useful articles and tutorials for the site.

An Introduction From Adrian
A first-class blog contains not only good content, but also great comments. Audiotuts+ is a blog like that.
We have a strong team of experienced and insightful authors who educate and tutor us week by week. We also have a host of dedicated readers and commentators - the knowledge you share in the comments adds value to the blog, and the feedback you give helps to guide its future. Thank you!
As the new Audiotuts+ editor, I strongly rely on our team of contributors who have expertise and experience far beyond mine. The plan for the future is to continue with the same helpful and practical tutorials and articles you have been enjoying, and to make our Plus Program even stronger.
Personally, I’ve been playing keys and acoustic guitar for nearly thirty years, and developed a strong interest in home studios shortly afterwards. Right now I’m renewing that interest, and looking into software and audio interfaces that will enable me to get back into recording. I have six kids and two grandkids, and some of them are becoming amazing musicians in their own right.
I look forward to getting to know you all better over the next months and years. You can follow me on Twitter where you will receive blog notifications and other useful links. Feel free to introduce yourself in the comments.

I’d like to know why Audiotuts+ has an Alexa rank of 6,721,409 despite such great traffic?

hello, hopefully you will have a better eye for better tutorials, rather than rubbish like “How To Use Rex Files”.. “Why you should always buy top quality gear”±±

Hey there Adrian, I’m truly glad to hear that things are going well. My name is David, I’m a regular here at Tuts+ and a tuts+ plus member. I mostly hang around in the other site, net, psd, and vector, but I’ll drop in here a few times. Nice to meet you!
