In this tutorial I’ll discuss many of the new features Logic 9 has to offer and suggest interesting ways that you could use them in your music.
Here is an example of the type of track this tutorial will teach you to create:

I bought the update the week it came out…..definitely worth it. A lot more stable than 8 too!!
I’m very tempted by this. I browsed through their sound files and stuff on the Apple page a while ago and I must say it is very impressive stuff. Especially the guitar things, being a guitarist myself. Made me drool. That’s all.
Pro-Tools 8 got what? 6 months? Then Logic stepped up…
Just planting seeds, just planting seeds…
In general, I have learned quite a bit of useful info from AudioTuts+, but, as a Windows/Sonar user, I would rather see Mac/Logic/ProTools SPECIFIC reviews come in the free tuts, and not the plus. I am quite used to having to convert from Mac programs to Sonar, but would rather have to pay to see what I consider to irrelevant content.
Thanks
That’s a great point, FamousPatrick. We want our Plus tuts to have the maximum possible benefit to all subscribers. This one was only relevant to those using (or considering) Logic Pro, and is definitely a rare exception to that rule.
Of course, most tutorials use a particular DAW (or sometimes several DAWs) as a focus, but the principles and steps should also be applicable to those using other DAWs.
In case you are feeling like you are missing out this week, we have a special birthday bonus Plus tut coming out later in the week, and it is definitely of general interest to everyone interested in audio production. I think you’re going to love it!
OOps! I meant, “NOT have to pay”
I have a stupid question:
“What’s new in Logic Pro 9″ is here:
http://www.apple.com/logicstudio/whats-new/ on Apple site.
Why to pay to see it?
Boh!
Do you want to hear what Apple says about their own product, or hear from a professional who uses Logic every day in his studio? I know which I’d prefer!
The tut isn’t just a review, it covers eleven new features of Logic Pro with screenshots, audio snippets and tutorial elements throughout. Think of it as eleven mini-tutorials for the price of one.
PS. If you want to get a taste of Plus – download our Tuts Birthday Bundle. It’s only available for another 17 hours!
Yes i agree with mr try apple guys are not professional (yeah yeah he dont say that i know) and they dont using logic pro 9 every day……
They just develop and engineered all this new features but they dont know how to use it…
BUT its just me..
OMG, OMG, OMG!! I want Logic Pro 9 so bad. Some real useful upgrades. I just wish they would make Logic a little more customizable.. even let users change the colour of the interface so we don’t get so bored.
but anyhow!! haha. It’s grand!
