Win a Black KORG nanoPAD USB Drum Controller

For the chance to win an KORG nanoPAD Drum Controller (pictured above) you need to do is comment, letting us know why you’d like to win the nanoPAD. Make sure to include your correct email address with your comment so that we can contact you. This giveaway is open worldwide, but make sure to get your comment in before midnight this Saturday, Pacific Eastern Standard Time.

The Korg nanoPAD is a unique, exceptionally responsive pad that has inherited the terrific sensitivity and feel of the Korg padKONTROL, one of the most highly sought-after pad controllers on the market, in a smaller format! The Korg nanoPad offers 12 excellent feeling and highly responsive pads in a new, smaller footprint. In addition, a new Chord Trigger function lets you enter chords onto a single pad, helping you to make the most of the work surface as you create. The pads are also able to transmit control change messages, making this a great interface for soloing or muting mixer tracks, turning objects on and off, or triggering clips during your live performances. nanoPAD’s X-Y pad offers Roll and Flam modes, to help you lay down ultra-realistic drum grooves. The X-Y pad will also send MIDI CC (Control Change), making it a go-to interface for any parameter within your software that requires full range MIDI control such as pitch, cutoff, volume and beyond. With the KORG KONTROL Editor (downloadable free of charge from the Korg website) you can customize four scenes that address the pads and X-Y pad can be stored within nanoPAD to suit your control needs. That means you actually have access to 48 notes/chords, 60 MIDI controllers, or any combination of the two types of data at any given time. Also, select one of three velocity curves or a fixed velocity to tailor the nanoPAD to your touch. The nanoPAD also comes complete with a download code for Toontrack’s EZDrummer Lite, offering super-realistic, highly responsive drums in a convenient plug in, plus you can upgrade to the full version of EZDrummer for a special price, and a free downloadable Editor/Librarian to help you create setups to suit your specific control needs.

If you miss out, check it out at Amazon.com.

I WANT ONE = VERY YES

  5. Scott says:

I’d like one because new loops for EZDrummer cost money and a free nanoPAD from Envato doesn’t. :-)

  6. Mark says:

I imagine to touch her grey skin and black body with my left hand, while spanking her with my right.

    Oh yeah ;)

  7. John says:

I should win because I love performing music and this looks like something I could use live and in the studio.

Also… I am poor and never win anything.

  8. Martin says:

I could use something portable like this to work on my audio experiments outside the studio… on my lunch hour at work, for example.. or to bring to band practice or gigs. Recently married, my audio gear habit comes dead last, in the household budget.

  9. RobGD says:

The pads on my MPK49 were a huge letdown. I saw fingers use one of these and it looked nice and easy to tap on.

  10. Luke Hefson says:

I’d love to win this as I’ve been using Motion 2 and my keyboard to trigger my backing tracks live and this little beauty would take it to the whole new level!

  11. Oli says:

    Cos I want it.

  12. Anna says:

Just need something not overcomplicated to start in live and this Korg seems to be perfect for me =)

Because I’m just starting to look at the audiotuts, and learning from audiotuts just like I have with the other sites would be fantastic!

  14. Brenda Astorga says:

I saw one several years back in the movie Hustle & Flow. I didn’t know what they were called until very recently but, like many others, I don’t have the money to buy one! I’m in college looking to move out and get my own apartment in Austin! The music capital of the world! So I don’t see me having the money to buy one happening soon :(

I have Reason installed on my computer and I really want to buy Logic. I just don’t have one of these to actually use with the software :/

I’m just a girl looking to be successful in audio engineering and all that good stuff! I gotta show the boys that girls are talented with this stuff too! So, in all sincerity, winning this would really make a girl like me happy..and even more motivated!!

  15. omarterrones says:

College students never get presents studying abroad

  23. roger davis says:

i’m on income support… i broke my right arm and wrist a few years ago… i played drums and guitar, now i only play guitar, mainly at open mic nights… but i really need to make music at home, my arm is now an inch shorter than it was, due to the hospital taking bone away… it makes playing guitar very painful, but drums almost impossible. Music is my life, my love… i want to expand my sound, i write all my own material, but i want to make music i can sell on line… open mics don’t pay, and i need to find income… i can’t do ordinary work for the pain i’m constantly in… music is my only joy, my only release… If i won the Korg, i’d be over the moon.
    Love and Happy thoughts.

  39. JTerrance says:

I would love to rock that Korg what ta ma call it with my reasons setup….. It looks better than using my keyboard for drums…

I would like to win because it would help me not have to find a drummer!

  41. Lohacker says:

Would go great with my white one…

  42. Dave Aria says:

I will be needing an interface to trigger samples and do glitch / granular synth effects (a la NIN’s last few tours) in a live situation next year. This would be a miraculous edition to my very feeble arsenal.. and would really mean a lot for me to have. I would just have to figure out how to make everything run stably off mainstage and a couple macbook pros… Good luck to everyone!

  43. Chris James says:

i need this 4 my drummer he still has an old yamaha 4 piece from his dad he needs this soooo bad!

  44. Josh F. says:

I would love to add this to my music-making collection! I have an acoustic drum set that I play on quite frequently, but there are times that I want to play at night but can’t because of neighbors. This would help me to practice a little more in a different way, help me to gain experience with different sounds and how to combine the electric sounds with my acoustic sounds, and stuff like that!

  45. Caleb Cantrell says:

    i want one

  46. Jeremy says:

    Awesome giveaway. Thanks for posting!

  47. 16 Bit Genesis says:

dude we’re a young band trying to get off the ground. my drummer says he would kill for this thing, so its gotta be worth it. hope to make it big someday.

  48. Ethan says:

Holy jeebus I could really use this. Songs with just guitar are no fun

  49. William Mills says:

i would really love to do drum and sample triggering in FL and this would be perfect for it. it would be great to be able to just simply pick this up and take it to my friends house and work there, or whatever.
