Man I love the KISS solo Albums, it was interesting at the time and some classic music came out of it, if you were 12 years old when they came out and you got all 4 , jam jam jam……the 70’s …I miss em!

i would say the four solo KISS albums were a letdown but after a while i grown to like them and i seriously dont think their pointless, i think they could have put more effort into them and i thought gene solo album could have used less ballards

Andy Taylor left Duran Duran and tried to become The Cult, to no success

Dee Dee Ramone as Dee Dee King on “Standing in the Spotlight”
I will always love Dee Dee and admit I bought the Dee Dee King album upon release, but it at best can be described as ridiculous.

everything that Johnny Thunders did solo. Every time he pretended he was going to bring the rock. He never did.

Paul Stanley’s solo album is one of the best Kiss albums. You either like Kiss or you don’t, and it sounds like you don’t. Putting the four Kiss solo albums on a “Most Pointless” list just means you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Rob Halford, Bruce Dickinson. In the end, their solo albums pretty much ended up sounding like the parent bands they came from, so why should a fan buy it.

It would be…if it was ever released. That album never happened. Interscope shelved it after the first two singles flopped.

-This was a good album and didn’t resemble anything Queen ever did, but what should really be on this list is Nicole Scherzingers solo album. What is the point? The Pussycat Dolls are really “Nicole Scherzinger w/ dancers”.
