interesting i use a way different method but still using simpler interesting ether way. ive been meaning to put a tutorial on my website i really need to get around to that.

Nice and simple although, being a newbie, a few steps seemed to be missing and a few assumptions made. I should have listened to the final piece, also – which wasn’t very rewarding. This seemed very laborious in comparison to this http://forum.ableton.com//viewtopic.php?t=68184 tutorial and a bit labour intensive, but much easier to follow and less assumptive of knowledge.

@ Alex: It’s supposed to sound random, like the chimes are being played by the wind. I don’t think it would sound very natural if the melody were more predicatable. But each to their own

It’s great to have something on ambient music, I’d really like to see more on that. But somehow everything seems too fragmented. A more thought out melody line could help too as the tune is difficult to follow.
