This is the second part in a series of screencasts about subtractive synthesis. In this part we take a close look at modulators, LFOs and external controllers. Hope fully these two tutorials will give you a basic all round knowledge of a standard subtractive synthesiser.

Next up I’ll be going into modulation matrixes and any other extra settings you are likely to find in most synths. If there is anything in particular you would like to see in future casts please let me know.

    just done this following on from tute 1, learned heaps!! Hopefully I can start to create some original stuff now instead of spending hours trawling through presets !!!

    thanx a lot i try to study about subtractive and aditive synthesis and make my first patches because presets are a waste of time.that was a very good video.i hope some day i will be able to program granular synths i love the sounds that you can get
