In this tutorial I’m going to show how to get that classic and iconic clean-Stratish tone using just modeling technology. I’m using Guitar Rig 4 to get it, but you could use whatever software or real amp, as long as it gives you a Marshall-like tone.
wtf… „John loves the …”
First cut your Video … than publish it!
Listen at (start) 5:00min … at 6:35 you restart „John loves the …” … and than I stop the video! :(
Ehmm … please first CUT your videos right and than publish it please.
Starting at 5:00… its always the same … “John loves … “
Decent enough tutorial, but you might want to edit your video a bit more. Things got pretty confusing around the reverb section.
This one is funny! Just to be sure you check the video, as Bryan said I think you probably accidentally left unedited parts in your tutorial (which made me realize the amount of time you guys take putting these tuts online :-). Just check the reverb part and after.
Thanks for the tutorial!
Ditto bryan’s comments above. Great vid though.
Good tutorial but I also think you should edit or redo the section between 5:00 and 7:00. I got a bit lost too. In a classic amp setup I think the stomp pedal comes before the preamp (I guess GR gives you the power to put it anywhere in the signal chain.)
It might be easier if you wrote yourself some cue cards to help you on what you’re going to say next.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers, Phil
what john’s loves to use? .-)
Can You repeat the part in the middle again please!
I have not understand that.
Thumbs up for the vid, Adrian. You got a pretty decent tone there.
It made me laugh, because I do tutorials myself and know exactly what it’s like when you get stuck on a section and try to pass it multiple times. That’s when you need a break :) You also need edits, edits and more edits. As Raffi said – it does take loads of time to put a video together, so don’t neglect the necessary, boss!
It’s great to see so much interest in Adrian’s quick tip. There’s nothing like something going wrong to encourage comments! ;) I appreciate your understanding and good humor.
I appreciate all of the work Adrian put into this tut. I think it’s a great tip, spoiled only by a bad edit. I’m currently exporting a highly edited version of the tip, and will upload it in the coming hours.
I just replaced the video with the new edited version. Enjoy!
Wohoo, im sorry guys, english is not my first language as you can probably tell by my accent, so i have to repeat the parts multiple times sometimes…
It was my bad on that part, and im sorry to confuse some of you guys.
Thanks for the positive comments tho, next videos are going to be clearer :D
No problems, Adrian. Thanks for the video, and I’m looking forward to the next one.
Yeah … Iam sry for my first “wtf comment”. I was tired and when I saw the video I was soooo … hmm dont know … confused(?)
Next time you will take more care … I’m shure.
Go on … really good tut!
Thanks brother, i’m so glad you like it!
Great video and thank you for replacing it to the new edited version.
Great tutorial man. So simple and great sounding. This tone shows how much you can do musically with a bare bones set up.
Thanks!
Hey men who do you imagine is a better guitarist John Frusciante or Noel Gallagher?
This is a tutorial, not a contest who is better guitarist.
