Could anyone help me with some Channel Editing in Cool Edit Pro 2?

All I need is to DELETE THE LEFT CHANNEL of a stereo waveform (or to SILENCE IT) in the EDIT VIEW.

I know how to select a channel but don't know how to continue.

Thanks in advance.
