Very solid tutorial, it's these little elements that really give a track character. Often I'll save adding sweeps and crashes until I have finished most of my sequencing and editing. If I am happy without them, then adding them is the icing on the cake.

You'd be surprised the impact reverses, rising/filtered white noises and the like can add. Often is is these elements that really give a track that professional polish.

@ Jimbo ... really glad the tuts are useful to you.

As far making the tips more Logic specific, of course I'll be doing 100% Logic based tuts in the future, but with pieces like this one i try to be as generic as possible so that more people will find them helpful.

I'll keep the request in mind when i'm writing my tuts for next month though, so watch this space ;)

Mo,
I find your tuts to be very useful. a
As a logic user they are very clear and easy to follow and very informative. Thank you and keep em coming.I'd personally love to see more tricks and tips related to logic and particular instruments and plugins within the program as sometimes it feels as though i'm only scratching the surface.
Thanks again

Awesome tips... I've been constantly piecing together drum sounds for my upcoming solo album and these ideas might work really well for parts of it. Should be interesting to try them in a rock / songwriter sound.

Ah, this has been most informative. I use Acid Pro but I can see how the end result can be applied.

Thanks for the tutorial!!
