Hi there. thx for the tutorial.
I have problem with the new groove engine/ warp engine.
When I apply many loops it so difficult to set to get them to swing proper.
Its hard to adjust the transients in the loops.
In live 7 i never had problems with many loops running with swing quantize.

would love to see some sort of turotial on how to create better grooves via compressors & gates & basic dynamics.

Hi Sidewalk. You might be better off putting these into one of Ableton’s samplers or drum machines. ‘Simpler’ would do the job … you could then program these one shots using midi and apply the groove to the midi information.

have a question. If a have a single wav one-shot samples on diferent audio tracks for example hats on hats track bdrum on dbrum track. How to apply one groove for those tracks?

Ableton have done a good job with this shame about the warping, Mo it would be cool if you could do a tut on how to set up warping for djing in A8.
